The market novelty: The solar carport SPG5
The solar carport by TOPREGAL has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and, thanks to its uniqueness, is the market first in the automotive shelter sector. All common electric vehicles can be charged with green energy completely independent of the grid.
The frame construction of the carport consists of particularly durable aluminium profiles and offers your car protection from wind and weather with a drive-in height of and a width of 143.31 in, as well as a length of 269.29 in. The drive-through height is 139.37 in. The profiles are firmly fixed in the ground with bolt anchors. They can be screwed directly into asphalt and concrete surfaces; for other ground surfaces, an appropriate foundation is required.

The carport we sell is only the frame and the solar panels.
There are two ways how you can use the electricity generated by the solar panels of the carport:
- Connect the cable of the panels to your house electric grid. Therefore, you need an existing photovoltaic system at your house. That’s what the frame and panels are for: To connect it to your already existing photovoltaic system.
- Connect it with a battery storage cabinet with an inverter for a completely self-sufficient power supply. With this option you don’t need an existing photovoltaic system and you would not connect it to your household’s electric grid. In the US we don’t offer a set with a battery storage cabinet and inverter yet, so you would have to get this separately. But we are planning to do so in the future.
To charge your car you always need a wall mounting charging station, additionally to the above mentioned.

We cannot provide any information on the legal regulations. Please seek information regarding all relevant legal requirements from the appropriate authorities prior to construction.
We offer carports in fixed dimensions that cannot be customized. The dimensions listed in the technical data cannot be changed. We also do not offer any other materials for the frame construction than those listed here.
No, you do not need an electrician to put the carport into operation. The control cabinet is delivered completely pre-assembled by us and the modules are plugged together and connected according to instructions.
We offer the carport as a pure stand-alone solution. Feeding into the house grid is not intended. It is possible, however, to replace our inverter with a hybrid inverter (alternating current) if you still want to feed into the grid. However, we do not carry this variant in our product range.
