Strapping tool
A strapping tool is a special tool used in the packaging industry and logistics to securely enclose goods or packages with straps. These straps, which are usually made of plastic or steel, are used to bundle and stabilize goods in order to protect them from damage during transport or storage. Strapping tools tighten the strap around the object to be secured and then seal it either mechanically or thermally to ensure a firm connection. There are different types of strapping tools, including manual, electric and battery-powered models, which are used depending on the requirements and area of application. Choosing the right strapping tool depends on the type of goods, the required strap tension and the specific requirements of the packaging processes. Basically, a strapping tool is essential for companies that rely on safe and efficient packaging and transportation of products.
Strapping tool for plastic strapping and steel strapping
At TOPREGAL, we have strapping tools for plastic strapping in our range of business equipment and technology, as well as strapping tools for steel strapping. The HU-P1316 is a high-quality strapping tool for plastic straps that has been specially designed for straps made of polyethylene (PET) or polypropylene (PP). The straps may have a width of 13 to 16 millimetres and be between 0.5 and 1.2 millimetres thick. The strapping tool is set for PET plastic straps as standard. Conversion to PP straps is carried out in a few simple steps using the additional spring included in the scope of delivery. Just like the HU-P1316, the HU-P1319 professional strapping tool is also battery-operated, which makes the packaging process even faster. The strapping tool is also supplied with an additional Li-ion battery, which provides reliable support for increased work performance and effectively eliminates annoying waiting times while the tool is charging. Together, the batteries enable the sealing of 200 to 300 seams and are characterized by an impressive longevity with a continuous service life of around eight hours. A suitable charger is also included, which fully recharges the batteries within one and a half hours.
In addition to these battery-powered strapping tools for plastic strapping, we also offer a manual strapping tool for steel strapping. This model is equipped with three levers for particularly easy handling. Once you have tightened the steel strap with the right-hand lever, you can easily secure it with the left-hand lever and then quickly cut it off with the lower lever.
Strapping tool with or without battery?
The choice between an electric strapping tool with a rechargeable battery and a manually operated strapping tool depends largely on the specific requirements of the operation. The battery-powered version often enables faster and more efficient operation, as the handy tool can be moved easily. On the other hand, manual strapping tools are usually more cost-effective, do not require regular battery charging and are often stationary in use due to their weight and size. Whatever you decide on: Investing in a strapping tool from TecMaschin is always worthwhile.
