Wiper strip
The squeegee is an indispensable component of every scrubber-dryer and plays a crucial role in the effective cleaning of floor surfaces. The squeegee reliably removes dirt and waste water from the floor during the cleaning process with the scrubber-dryer. In this way, the squeegee leaves the floor surfaces both clean and virtually dry. Subsequent wiping of the floors is therefore no longer necessary.
Mop strip and scrubber dryer - a well-coordinated team
The squeegee is usually located at the rear of a scrubber-dryer. While the cleaning machine scrubs the floor, the squeegee draws the water together. The machine's suction strip sucks up the contracted dirty water and collects it in the scrubber-drier's waste water tank. The use of rubber lips on the underside creates a high contact pressure that effectively draws the water away. This prevents puddles from remaining, which in turn increases safety on slippery floors.
The performance of a scrubber-dryer therefore depends largely on the functionality of its squeegee. A worn or damaged squeegee can leave water residue on the floor, which not only looks unclean, but can also pose a significant safety risk. Regular maintenance and, if necessary, replacement of the rubber lips are therefore crucial to ensure that the cleaning machine always performs to its full potential.
Maintenance and care
In principle, the wiping strips of the wipeket scrubber dryers from the TOPREGAL range are extremely robust and therefore durable. However, they can also be damaged in day-to-day work, for example if they accidentally run over edges or bulk material on the floor, such as screws or nuts. For this reason, we offer numerous replacement squeegees for your scrubber dryer in the cleaning equipment accessories category, which can be easily replaced. In this way, you can increase the effective cleaning time in just a few simple steps and avoid unwanted machine downtime during working hours. Our basic tip for extending the service life of your squeegees: Clean them regularly with the enclosed cloth when the scrubber-dryer has been in use.
To ensure the longevity of the squeegee strip, it should be cleaned regularly and checked for wear. Depending on the intensity of use, rubber lips can wear out relatively quickly and should be replaced if they show cracks or no longer lie evenly on the floor. A well-maintained squeegee contributes significantly to the efficiency of the scrubber-dryer and ensures optimum cleaning results.
