Eurocode

The Eurocode is a Europe-wide set of standards for the design and construction of buildings. Eurocode 3, as the European steel construction standard is known, is particularly important. It lays down binding rules for the calculation and design of steel structures and forms the basis for the dimensioning of steel shelving systems. Racking is planned in accordance with Eurocode 3 and other specific standards such as DIN EN 15512 to ensure that the load-bearing capacity and stability meet the highest requirements.
