The robustly constructed counterbalance forklift, also known as a counterbalanced forklift, gets its namesake counterweight from the substantial battery block, which weighs 397 lbs. The motor and battery are installed beneath the comfortable driver's seat to save space and create a low centre of gravity that is essential for optimum stability when lifting heavy loads. This allows goods weighing up to 3,307 lbs to be moved effortlessly at a maximum speed of 9.3 mph, even on gradients of up to 17 - 27 %.

Nevertheless, it is also ideally suited for outdoor use, safely transporting goods and cargo to their destination.

Its features make everyday work easier, especially when loading and unloading trucks and containers and transporting goods in general. The forklift's compact 3-stage telescopic mast enables continuous storage of goods up to a lift height of 1.38 - 189 in. It operates in three stages with mast heights of 86.22 - 228.9 in, and its compact dimensions with the telescopic mast retracted make it ideal for unloading inside a 40-foot High Cube sea-freight container.
The GSE15/5 forklift impresses with rear-wheel steering and a small turning radius of 80.12 in, making work in confined spaces, such as between storage-rack rows, considerably easier. The travel path requires a minimum width of 143.9 in. Power steering is also integrated as standard, enabling low-effort forklift manoeuvring.

Optimized ergonomics and safety: the versatile electric forklift
Access to the driver's cabin is ergonomically optimized and offers the highest safety standards thanks to a non-slip step and grab handle. The fork is operated, including raising, lowering and tilting, using the user-friendly levers beside the steering column. Manual adjustment of the fork width at the mast enables versatile use of the electric forklift, which can do far more than handle Euro pallets.

The 17.72 in diameter steering wheel is equipped with a spinner knob for easy manoeuvrability in confined spaces. The driver's cabin can be individually adjusted to the driver, with a height-adjustable steering unit and a driver's seat that can be moved forwards and backwards. The armrests and backrest can also be adjusted ergonomically.

Safety while driving is ensured by the legally required safety belt. Additional safety features include the all-round view through the curved rear-view mirror and the rear grab handle with horn function, which supports a stable posture when reversing and thus improves driving comfort and safety. The curved overhead guard and mesh struts at the optimum angle improve upward visibility of the load. The display beside the steering column shows the battery level, speed and hour meter. The ratchet handbrake enables the electric forklift to be parked safely.
The forklift's weight is distributed evenly across the four pneumatic rubber tyres. The front tyres are larger than the rear tyres, which are controlled by the rear-wheel steering.
