Does the device have a built-in microphone, or can an external microphone be connected via USB?

The portable digital customer sign does not have a built-in microphone. An external microphone can generally be connected via USB, since the device has USB ports and runs on Android. The operating system generally supports USB audio devices, such as microphones, via USB OTG.

We'd like to use this device to replace an analog poster display that our customers used to be able to flip through manually. To do this, we'd need a program that shows an overview of the items on the home screen, from which users could then access the individual images. If the device remains inactive for an extended period, it should start a slideshow that displays the saved designs in random order. Would that be possible?
